We’re partnering with The Ron Clark Academy (RCA) to provide an in-person, experiential two-day training for educators across the United States. 

Through this opportunity, selected teachers, assistant principals, and principals will attend The Ron Clark Academy Experience in Atlanta, Georgia. The program is a mix of classroom observations, workshops, and opportunities to engage with the Ron Clark team.

Our hope is that you return to your classroom energized, validated, and equipped for the challenging work you do.

Who Can Apply?

All public-school teachers, assistant principals, and principals are eligible for this program. Participants must be able to attend either the April 15 - 16, 2027 training or the Fall 2027 training (dates TBD) and be able to travel to Atlanta, GA.

  • Yes, we are planning to make this an annual program.

  • RCA is a highly acclaimed, nonprofit middle school in Southeast Atlanta. RCA is a demonstration school – a place where visiting educators engage in a vibrant professional development experience by observing best practices in action before participating in hands-on workshops.

    In the past 16 years, they have trained more than 100,000 educators from all over the world.

  • We are planning to send over 500 teachers total to the spring 2027 and fall 2027 trainings. 

  • The SONIC Foundation will cover the cost of most of your travel expenses. More details will be provided if your application is accepted.

  • No. All participants must participate either in the April 15-16, 2027 training, or in the Fall 2027 training. 

  • You’ll be notified by December 11, 2026 if your application is accepted and more details will be provided at that time.
